Would you like to put your faith in action with Hope Fan? We invite you to join us in serving Manzanillo and the surrounding areas during a Hope Trip.  We have over 8 years of experience bringing teams to Mexico.  Below you will find detailed information in planning a team trip to Manzanillo and a form to submit for additional information.

Note: If you are an individual we can also assist you in joining us in serving.  Please complete the information form below and we will get in contact with you.

14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?

15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

Romans 10:14-15

What is a Hope Trip?

Our ministry exists to share a message of hope through Jesus Christ.  On a Hope Trip, you will join us in bringing the hope of Jesus to the lives of those we serve in Manzanillo.

Hope Fan is able to coordinate a trip for all types of groups or individuals.  We can customize a trip to meet your team’s interests and skills. We have developed a process for planning your trip.

What are the steps to planning a Hope Trip?

Develop Your Team

The first step is to create your team.  Your team can be from your Church, Organization, Business, Bible Study group, Fellow Students, Group of Friends or Family.  The possibilities are endless.

Designate or Select a team leader

Your team leader will be the main contact with Hope Fan for your team.  The responsibilities for the team leader will be to make all arrangements with Hope Fan, lead the team in preparing for the trip, ensure all payments are made by the deadlines, and oversee the team on its trips.  In most cases, the team leader will also be the spiritual leader of the team.

Choose Trip Focus

If your group is interested in a particular focus for your Hope Trip please let us know.  Deciding the focus of the trip in advance will assist you in planning for your expenses, the best time of year to come, and the length of your trip. We recommend that you review our website to see our current ministries for ideas or you can share your idea with us.  We can also suggest a focus for you as well.  Trip ideas include:

Medical/Dental                              Construction                                        Children’s Ministry

Food/Clothing                               Evangelism/Preaching                         Sports

Compassion                                 Servant Evangelism                              Mentoring

Teach Your Talents (English, Business Training, Music, Trade skills, etc.)

Choose A Date

We accept groups throughout the year.  Provide us the dates that you would like to serve in Manzanillo and we will confirm the dates that are available.

Things to take into consideration when choosing a trip date:

When team members have vacation/breaks

Type of trip focus

Climate (dry season/rainy season)

Length

We accommodate short-term trips as short as 4 days up to 1 month.  Additionally, we accept Internships for College Age Students and older for longer periods of time.

Costs

The teams costs will consist of transportation from your city to Manzanillo, direct expenses related to your time here (lodging, meals, and bottled water, etc.), and ministry expenses (based on the trip focus i.e. construction, outreach). Please contact us for estimated costs as we are usually able to create a trip to meet most budgets.
